ABOUT THE TOURISM FAIR
Since 2025, the agency PROFI TEAM Sarajevo has decided to contribute to what is considered by many the most important sector of every country's economy – TOURISM.
From September 25 to 27, 2025, the International Tourism Fair will be held at the KJP Skenderija Center – a cultural and sports landmark of the city of Sarajevo and all of Bosnia and Herzegovina – under the slogan “Journey into the Future.”
Tourism is a social, cultural, and economic activity that involves people traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for purposes of leisure, enjoyment, exploring new cultures, visiting specific attractions, and experiencing natural or cultural resources.
Tourism is a multifunctional industry that combines economic, cultural, and social dimensions, and has a significant impact on the development of regions and countries.
Tourism is one of the most important sectors in many countries, as it contributes to significant revenue generation, the creation of new jobs, and the development of local communities. Additionally, tourism can have a positive impact on infrastructure, such as improving transportation links, building hotels and restaurants, and developing cultural and entertainment facilities.
Organizing a tourism fair brings numerous advantages and benefits, not only for the organizers but also for exhibitors, visitors, and the wider community.
A tourism fair is an opportunity to showcase new offers and trends in the tourism industry. For exhibitors, it serves as a platform to conduct business and connect with clients, colleagues, partners, collaborators, students, and the media. For the general public, it offers the chance to book stays at winter and summer resorts, New Year’s trips, early summer holiday deals, as well as spa, wellness, and health destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, business travel options, and other specialized forms of tourism and promotional activities. It is also a place to enjoy presentations of destinations that many people may never have the opportunity to visit in person.
The tourism fair brings together the tourism offerings of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Europe, and the world in one place, while positioning Bosnia and Herzegovina as a key destination in the region.
The presentation of both international and domestic tourism offers, professional conferences, lectures, promotions, and cultural and artistic programs are part of the content that will be offered to tourism professionals and the general public.
A large number of exhibitors will be featured at the fair, including tourism boards, hotels, travel agencies, nature parks, transport companies, agencies, restaurants, manufacturers, retailers, business associations, professional magazines, and other exhibitors.
